Medicine(Orthomolecular Medicine) Our approach follows the Orthomolecular Medicine(Functional Medicine) concept, which describes the practice of preventing and treating disease by providing optimal amounts of substances which are familiar to the body as opposed to synthetic drugs which are foreign to the human body. As Orthomolecular Medicine is based on substances that are normally present in the human body they are considered as very safe medicines. The term "Orthomolecular Medicine" was first coined in a 1967 letter by Nobel Prize winner Linus Pauling to express the idea of "the right molecules in the right amounts" ("Ortho" is Greek for "right").
